Creating a living memory of the struggle of the International Brigades
We are pleased to announce the 2022 Solidarity Park Festival on the weekend of 27-30 May in Malgrat de Mar, Catalonia. This year’s festival is special as it will also see the inauguration of the Solidarity Park monument dedicated to the historical memory of the brigaders on board the Ciudad de Barcelona.

The festival will consist of music, performances, art and historical exhibitions, a market, talks, joint meals, historical tours, and of course the inauguration ceremony of the monument. There will also be a special presentation of artwork created by students as part of the Solidarity Park educational project.
We hope you will join us in person or online this year for what will be an important moment in remembering the past to fight the ideas of the far right in the present.
Please email us solidarity messages to the event. These can take various forms. A short spoken video, written words, an artwork image or a recorded performance. They will be presented throughout the weekend of the festival.
