موضوعات الفنان علاء تتعلق بحياة الإنسان عموماً والمرأة خصوصاً، كالأمومة والأبوة والحب والسلام والخير والصيد، له تجارب في المدارس الفنيَّة جميعاً.. احترف معظمها و مازجاً بين الرمزيّة التكعيبيّة والتجريد.
وسبق للبلداوي أن أقام أربعة معارض شخصيّة بين فندقي المنصور ميليا والرشيد ووزارة الثقافة وبرج بابل، وشارك في معارض داخل وخارج العراق، حيث نال شهادات تقديريّة وجوائز، منها أفضل فنان في معرض لندن 2019 ويستعد لافتتاح معرضه الخامس في الرياض قريباً

Alaa Al-Baldawi was born in Baghdad in 1967 and graduated from the University of Baghdad with a BS in Fine Arts in 1992.
His subjects are related to human life in general and women in particular, for example, motherhood, fatherhood, love and peace, mixing Cubist symbolism and abstraction.
Al-Baldawi has previously held four solo exhibitions, at the Al-Mansour Melia and Al-Rashid hotels, the Ministry of Culture and the Tower of Babel, and also participated in other exhibitions both inside and outside Iraq, where he received certificates of appreciation and awards including best artist at the London exhibition in 2019. He is preparing to open his fifth exhibition in Riyadh soon.

Alaa Al Baldawi va neixer el 1967 a Bagdad, i va graduar el 1992 a la Universitat de Bagdad en Belles Arts.
Els seus temes estan relacionats amb la vida humana en general i amb les dones en particular, com la maternitat, la paternitat, l’amor i la pau, barrejant simbolisme cubista i abstracció.
Al-Baldawi ha realitzat anteriorment quatre exposicions personals entre els hotels Al-Mansour Melia i Al-Rashid, el Ministeri de Cultura i la Torre de Babel, i ha participat en exposicions dins i fora de l’Iraq, on va rebre certificats d’agraïment i premis, incloent-hi el de millor artista a l’exposició de Londres el 2019, i està preparant-se per inaugurar aviat la seva cinquena exposició a Riad.

Sus temas están relacionados con la vida humana en general y con las mujeres en particular, como la maternidad, la paternidad, el amor y la paz, mezclando simbolismo cubista y abstracción.
Al-Baldawi ha realizado cuatro exposiciones personales en los hoteles Al-Mansour Melia y Al-Rashid, el Ministerio de Cultura y la Torre de Babel, y también ha participado en exposiciones dentro y fuera de Irak, donde ha recibido certificados de agradecimiento y premios, incluyendo el de mejor artista en la exposición de Londres de 2019.
